How do I get a new password?
You can generate a new password for your SimPlant software online using Materialise's Password Generator. You will need to have your CC Key, provided with purchase, in order to get your new password. Click here to be taken to the Materialise site.

How can I use my Free Trial of SimPlant Planner?
If you have already received a copy of the SimPlant software on disc, simply load the disc into your computer. The software will automatically begin. If it does not automatically start, double click on your CD or DVD drive icon in the 'My Computer' folder and double click the icon labelled 'SimPlant 10'.

If you do not have a SimPlant disc, you can download the SimPlant software from our ftp site at ftp://simplantuk.com. Follow the instructions onscreen to choose your language. Select 'Install Full Licensed Version' and then select 'SimPlant Planner' to begin the Install Wizard which will guide you through the rest of the set up.

After following all instructions, double click on the new SimPlant 10 icon on your desktop. Answer 'Yes' to the request to register your product.

In the new window that appears will be a System ID for your computer. Please make careful note of this number and include all characters.

Now you are ready to begin your free one-month trial of SimPlant Planner! Call or email us (contact details top left) to receive your Trial password.

How do I use my Personal FTP Area?
Call or email CGI to receive your username and password.

Launch your internet browser and navigate to ftp://simplant.co.uk

N.B. In Internet Explorer (IE) you will need to have the appropriate settings to drag-and-drop files. In IE, select 'Internet Options' from the 'Tools' menu. Under the 'Advanced' tab, ensure the checkbox next to 'Enable folder view for FTP sites' is ticked.

Under the 'File' menu, select 'Log on as'.

IE 7: This version of IE requires that you adjust your view settings, accessed from the menu options on the right side of the browser window under 'Page', in order to see the normal folder view. Select the option to 'View FTP sites as Windows Explorer'. Instructions on how to do this are normally given at the top of the browser window. This will bring up a window where you can see folder icons, and you can select 'Log on As' from this window's 'File' menu.

Type in your username and password when prompted. You can tick the box to save your password for easy future use.

Access your processed cases, software updates, and personalized referral forms. Your older cases will be moved into your 'Archive' folder after a few months. For additional security, always log out after each session.
